Elevator of Doom is a game mode from Project Altered Beast that is unlocked after beating the game once in any difficulty. It is a series of gauntlets against hordes of enemies, each in a different floor.
Description[]
The mode is divided by Blocks focusing on different Beast Forms. If a Block has the focus on only one Beast, that means that the player will not be able to return back to human form in that specific Block. However if the Block focuses on multiple Beasts, turning back into a human is possible.
The location where this mode takes place in appears to be somewhere in Area 15, descending further until you reach the deepest part of the research lab, where the secret boss Belphegor resides. After beating the boss, the Beast Form Grizzly is unlocked.

Secrets[]
- SECRET 1: After unlocking the U.W.H. Beast Form, and you return to the Final Block, the Unique enemy Medusa will appear where the boss was once battled.
Trivia[]
- Staying inside the chambers where the enemies come out from will make it so they lose aggression and stand in the middle of the elevator. This can be useful when you're overwhelmed, or to take cheap shots with Garuda or Dragon.
- While going through the Elevator of Doom for the first time, Block G and the Final Block only seem to feature Werewolf, Merman (Final Block only), Wendigo, Garuda, Minotaur and Dragon, but after unlocking the Bonus Beasts (Grizzly, U.W.H. and Weretiger), they too can be used on these Blocks.
