Garuda is a new Beast that appeared in Altered Beast (2005). It is unlocked after defeating Sytry, the avian creature that was sent after Luke by Brad. It allows him to fly above the Genome Mist and continue his adventure. It's element being wind.
Beast Data Description[]
"The GARUDA Form was developed to give the Genome Cyborgs long-ranged flight capabilities. While the focus in developing this Form was not on combat, it would be foolish to leave the Cyborgs vulnerable to enemy attacks without a means to defend themselves. To this end, the GARUDA Form has been modified to have the ability to create small tornadoes, and shoot razor-sharp feathers from a distance."
Appearance[]
Luke's appearence as the Garuda resembles a humanoid, somewhat muscular great bald eagle.
Abilities[]
- Flap Wings: Like most birds, Garuda can take to the skies and fly. This is the only ability that makes it possible to travel to Area 7.
- Feather Dart: Garuda can launch dart-like feathers at its enemies. If standing still, it will launch them in a flurry; if moving it will shoot one by one, each time depending on the Square button being pressed.
- Tornado: Garuda's special ability that summons a tornado around it, sending enemies flying.
- Diving Attack: Holding the X button will make Garuda stop mid-air and zoom in on its target, attacking when the button is released.
