Where the WEREWOLF-class Beast Form emphasized speed and agility, the GRIZZLY-class Beast Form emphasizes sheer power and endurance. Second only to the Wendigo-class in terms of endurance, the GRIZZLY-class also features vastly increased strength ratings, as well as a moderate level of agility. In addition to its physical abilities, the GRIZZLY-class has been outfitted with various "breath weapons" that can alternately petrify or paralyze enemies. The GRIZZLY-class has been granted top priority for use in the battlefield.

Grizzly is a secret Beast Form from Project Altered Beast.

Story

While not seen in the main story itself, it is acquired by completing the Elevator of Doom mode, which is unlocked after the game is beaten once. Its Chip was swallowed by an insect and transformed into a giant monster named Belphegor. The Chip also granted it Grizzly's petrification moves.

Abilities

Name	Controls	Description
Maul		A lethal style of fighting, created to utterly destroy any opponent. Uses the powers of Bear and Human combined.
Nerve Gas	Hold	Press and hold the square button to make Grizzly unleash a deadly gas from behind.
Rolling Bear		Curl yourself into a ball. This form is able to damage enemies if the player rams into them.
Jump	while in ball-form	Jumps in ball-form.
Stand Up	while in ball-form	Stands back up.
Petrification Gas		Petrifies anyone in front of you. The Type-S Genome Chip allows it to be moved right or left.
