Sarcosuchus is the second boss from Project Altered Beast.

Appearance[]

It is a massive alligator with sharp plates throughout its entire back.

Story[]

Luke Custer fights the Sarcosuchus in a lake at the end of the Forest Area. He utilizes his Merman Beast Form in order to face it and obtain the Hyper Jump Learning Genome for Werewolf, in order to jump a high wall and continue onwards to the Swamp.

After unlocking the Garuda Beast Form, the Unique enemy Janus will appear on the place Sarcosuchus was battled.
The "r" from Sarcosuchus's code name (MB1092r) appears to be for "reptile".
- Other enemies with this classification include: Alligator Fish and Janus.
The name "Sarcosuchus" from an extinct distant relative of modern day crocodiles which were incredibly large.^[1]
